| Subrogation
UMR Subrogation has developed a standardized business framework to
ensure consistent, repeatable processes for delivering high-quality subrogation recovery services
across the organization.
The Subrogation Services team works to recover benefit payments when
the treatment was the result of an accident caused by a third party or the payment is the
responsibility of another accident insurer. The subrogation team seeks reimbursement of
benefit payments through the legal rights of subrogation and reimbursement, the enforcement of
Workers Compensation benefit exclusions and coordination of benefits with auto insurance
policies.
